Shrestha thanks one and all for the support
Oct. 25, 2016 - The All Nepal Football Association’s newly elected President Narendra Shrestha and Vice President Mani Kunwar assumed office at the All Nepal Football Association Complex on Tuesday.
In his address, Shrestha thanked the FIFA, AFC, Ministry for Youth and Sports, National Sports Council, Nepal Olympic Committee, District Football Association, A B and C Division Clubs, different committees, Nepal Police, ANFA staff and member of the press for their support for making the 15thANFA Congress a success.
He said the ANFA Congress was an example to the entire sports fraternity in the country as it was conducted in a smooth, free and fair manner.
On Monday, AFC President Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa sent a congratulatory message to Shrestha.
“Please accept my sincere congratulations and best wishes on your election as the President of the All Nepal Football Association at its 15th Ordinary Congress held earlier today in Kathmandu .
I am confident that you will make valuable contribution for further development and promotion of football in your beautiful country.
I assure you of AFC’s full support for your efforts, and look forward to meeting you in the near future,” wrote the President in his message to Shrestha.
